Participation Account is the type of account that can be opened in Turkish Lira, foreign currency or precious metals. It consists of the funds where the dividend is not predetermined, but the account holders participate in the profit or loss as arising from the use of their funds. Also, no predetermined profit yield is paid to the account holder and the payment of the principal sum is not guaranteed.
